In the 2012 edition of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria International Film Festival, the “The Moderns” series was programmed. It was an exploration of avant‑garde cinematographic art prior to the introduction of sound, conceived by our colleague Francisco Ponce. We now propose to complete that landmark with nine films made between 1929 and 1934, selected by Luis Miranda, the festival’s director. Introducción a la Animación Experimental
Desde preparar las imágenes y el material para nuestro lienzo animado hasta trastear con la pintura, el collague y el montaje. En este taller práctico golisnearemos la técnica del mixed-media video , mezclando fotografía, vídeo y pintura. Aprenderemos los fundamentos básicos para producir este estilo visual tan característico utilizando herramientas accesibles y algunas profesionales. En esta segunda edición indagaremos tanto en la parte técnica como artística , conociendo las herramientas para desmontar los fotogramas de un vídeo y la maquetación con varias técnicas para facilitar el proceso. Y una segunda parte donde nos centraremos especialmente en el proceso de diseñar y construir la animación. No necesitas experiencia previa. El objetivo es atreverse a experimentar con nuevos formatos y abrir nuevas líneas de experimentación con la idea de que los y las participantes obtengan todo el conocimiento necesario y herramientas para poder desarrollar sus propias obras .
