Valleseco brings together the tourism and business sectors to strengthen its profile as a gastronomy and nature destination The Ecological Market will host this Monday, June 29, a strategic meeting that will connect local businesses, tourism professionals and entities linked to the economic development of the municipality. The Valleseco Town Council continues to promote actions to strengthen the economic and tourism promotion of the municipality with the holding, this Monday, June 29 at 7:00 p.m., of a networking meeting at the Ecological Market facilities. The initiative will bring together local businesses, zero‑kilometre producers, restaurants, shops and professionals from the tourism sector with the aim of generating new alliances, sharing experiences and opening up promotion and marketing opportunities. The initiative, promoted by the Department of Local Development, Commerce, Tourism and Crafts of the municipality with the support of the Department of Local Development of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, is part of the Council’s strategy to consolidate Valleseco as a destination capable of integrating gastronomy, nature, culture and experiences linked to the territory. The councillor for the area, Rosa Delia Quintana Rodríguez, highlights that the objective is to project all of Valleseco’s potential outward. “We are working to position the municipality as a gastronomic destination where both visiting residents and those arriving from other places can enjoy our excellence. We want them to get to know our trails, natural spaces and heritage resources, but also to discover the quality of our cheeses, artisanal pastries and honey, and of course our renowned ciders, which have won national and international awards.” The councillor adds that “this meeting seeks to create synergies between the local business network and those who market tourism experiences. We want to listen, exchange knowledge and learn about new perspectives that allow us to continue improving.
