Solidarity Gala: Gáldar with the Heart in Mozambique

🇲🇿 The Gáldar City Council, through the Department of Solidarity headed by Ana Teresa Mendoza Jiménez, is organizing the solidarity gala "Gáldar con el corazón en Mozambique" (Gáldar with its heart in Mozambique) next Thursday, August 27 at 8:00 p.m., in collaboration with the Amagro Neighborhood Association of Barrial, which will be held at the headquarters of this neighborhood association. 🤝🏾 This initiative is part of the program "Gáldar por la Solidaridad 2026" and aims to raise funds to finance nursery and primary schools in rural villages in Mozambique. The funds raised will be managed by the association Madres Solidarias (Solidarity Mothers) to support the educational projects promoted by the priest Manolín Ramírez in the African country. 🎶 The gala will feature a musical performance by the duo made up of Juan Carlos Álamo Rosario and Dunia Candelaria Sosa, who will offer a repertoire full of sensitivity and commitment. Since 2023, both artists have been developing a joint project that focuses mainly on boleros, from the most traditional ones to adaptations of well-known songs and references from contemporary Mexican music, as well as other musical proposals.
