Pino Santo Alto is getting ready to celebrate its 2026 Festivities in Honour of Our Lady of Health with a wide programme of religious and popular events. 8 August ▫️ 8:30 p.m. – Opening Proclamation delivered by the Rancho de Ánimas de Arbejales (Teror), a centuries-old living relic of the ethnographic heritage of the Canary Islands. ▫️ Afterwards, Tacones Rojos in concert. 9 August ▫️ 10:00 a.m. – Opening of the Handicrafts and Local Produce Market, with musical entertainment by Sara Brito and Paco. ▫️ From 10:00 a.m., the Teodoro Torres Equestrian Arena hosts the “Day of Traditions” with a threshing demonstration with two yokes of oxen, cow milking, distribution of milk and gofio, sheep shearing and donkey rides. ▫️ 12:00 noon – Mass for the deceased of the neighbourhood (in the Outdoor Marquee / Sports Court). ▫️ 1:00 p.m. – Foam Party. 11 August ▫️ 5:00 p.m. – Bouncy castles, face painting and youth games. Organised by the Youth Department. ▫️ 6:00 p.m. – Fitness masterclass. Organised by the Municipal Sports Society. 13 August ▫️ 8:00 p.m. – Tasting of typical dishes and Bingo. 14 August ▫️ 7:30 p.m. – Reception of pilgrims from Arbejales and San Isidro. ▫️ 8:00 p.m. – Holy Mass of the Sick in the Outdoor Marquee / Sports Court. ▫️ 9:00 p.m. – Lip-sync show “Escala en Hi-Fi” presented by Carolina del Olmo (El Tocador de Nina). 15 August ▫️ 8:00 p.m. – Departure of Our Lady of Health from the Hermitage. ▫️ 8:00 p.m. – Pilgrimage and Offering to Our Lady of Health with the groups Parranda Pedro Hidalgo and A.F. Iballa. (Offering in aid of Cáritas Santa Brígida). ▫️ 10:30 p.m. – Grand open-air dance with music by Ritmo Bakano and DJ Álvaro Rodríguez. 16 August ▫️ 6:00 p.m. – Religious service celebrated by parish priest Vito Ondó with music by the folk group A.F. La Zarzalera (Pino Santo Bajo). ▫️ Procession accompanied by the Guiniguada Concert Band. ▫️ 8:30 p.m. – Costumbrista theatrical monologue “Tu acento me suena” by Antonia de Aguatona. ▫️ At the end, hot chocolate with churros. The Pino Santo Alto Festival Committee thanks the commitment of the residents, as well as the support of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, the Santa Brígida Town Council and the local businesses that make these festivities possible.
