La Isleña Trail del Norte proposes five race modalities for its next event in Arucas *The sporting event will be held in Arucas from this Thursday, October 22, until Sunday 24* Arucas, October 20, 2026. - The mayor of Arucas, Juan Jesús Facundo, the Councilor for Sports, José María González, the sports director of La Isleña Trail del Norte, Joaquín Vera, and the representative of La Isleña pasta, Cristina Peña, presented this Tuesday, in Arucas, the race La Isleña Trail del Norte. An event whose parallel activities will begin this Thursday, October 22, with the Runner’s Fair, in Plaza de San Juan. La Isleña Trail del Norte offers its participants five race modalities. For hiking lovers, the event offers a route to enjoy the course and the landscapes of Arucas, so that everyone can go at their own pace. If you have a dog, Canicross is your modality, since you will be able to run with him or her. The young talents also have their place in the Gorila Asisa Kid´s, a modality designed for children under 12, on an urban circuit starting and finishing in Plaza de San Juan. For demanding participants there are 3 competitive trails. La Isleña Trail del Norte returns to Arucas after the successful participation in last year’s race. Events like this consolidate the municipality as a favorite place to hold different sporting competitions throughout the Canary Islands.
