“Walking in Equality” at Finca de Osorio The free activity will take place on Thursday, 11 June, and requires prior registration Arucas, 26 May 2026. - The Department for Equality Policies of Arucas Town Council is organising, on 11 June, a visit to Finca de Osorio, an activity framed within the project “Walking in Equality”. The initiative is free of charge, with prior registration, and is aimed at residents of the municipality. The activity will be carried out from a gender perspective, promoting inclusive, participatory and reflective spaces, fostering equal opportunities and strengthening community relationships based on respect. It is also an initiative that aims to encourage healthy habits and contact with the natural environment. The day will consist of a walk through one of the most emblematic natural areas of Gran Canaria, Finca de Osorio. Departure will be at 09:10 from the Arucas Seniors’ Centre, the point from which the bus will leave with the people taking part in this activity. The Department for Equality Policies encourages the population to take part in this initiative, which is part of the ongoing actions carried out to promote equality, social participation and community well-being in the municipality of Arucas.
