Valleseco prepares a weekend of music, celebration and zarzuela: these are the events for October 17 and 18 The municipality of Gran Canaria will host Valledry Fest 2026, with Grupo Bomba, Café de Luna and DJ Prezkik, as well as the preliminary and final phases of the 14th Valleseco International Zarzuela Competition. Valleseco is getting ready for a weekend of music and culture in the north of Gran Canaria. On October 17 and 18, the municipality will celebrate Valledry Fest 2026 and the 14th Valleseco International Zarzuela Competition, two proposals that will combine a festive atmosphere with musical performances. The activities are part of the festivities in honor of Our Lady of the Incarnation and will offer options for different audiences. Saturday, October 17: Valledry Fest 2026 and zarzuela Saturday will bring together two of the main events of the weekend. From 4:00 p.m., the La Herrera parking area will host Valledry Fest 2026, an afternoon session that will run until midnight. The event will feature performances by the Grupo Bomba Orchestra, Café de Luna and DJ Prezkik. The organizers also announce the presence of a tattoo artist, prize draws and other surprises that will be revealed through social media. That same Saturday, at 6:00 p.m., the Valleseco Auditorium will be the venue for the preliminary phase of the 14th Valleseco International Zarzuela Competition, a cultural event that will continue the following day. Sunday, October 18: final of the International Zarzuela Competition On Sunday, the program will focus on staged music. At 11:00 a.m., the Valleseco Auditorium will host the final phase of the 14th International Zarzuela Competition, which will put the finishing touch to the activities planned for that weekend.
