Countdown to the 5th Edition of the Rallysprint Ciudad de Arucas The competition debuts a new timed stage and will be held on August 28 and 29 Arucas, August 24, 2026. - The motor racing event lands in Arucas next Friday, August 28 and will run until Saturday 29. The competition, organized by FanMotor, celebrates its fifth edition with a brand-new, previously unused timed section of more than seven kilometers, which will cross the Los Chorros junction. Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 25, the organizers will publish the official list of entrants, who on Friday, August 27, from 4:00 p.m. onwards, have their first appointment in the Antonio Afonso Moreno “Tonono” sports area, where they will undergo the administrative and technical checks for the event. The competition will take place on Saturday, August 29, and will begin at 8:20 a.m. with the Santidad Alta – La Cruz stage, a section covering 7.39 kilometers and which, from 12:15 p.m. onwards, the drivers will cover in the opposite direction, La Cruz – Santidad Alta. The rallysprint trophy ceremony will be held in the Antonio Afonso Moreno “Tonono” sports area. This will conclude one of the last three rounds of the regional calendar and the penultimate at the provincial level; therefore, the Arucas event is decisive for determining the titles of the 2026 season. The 5th Rallysprint Ciudad de Arucas has the institutional support of the Arucas City Council, the Sports Department of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, the Government of the Canary Islands, and local and island-based businesses.
