An opportunity to discover the works of young composers from the Canary Islands in this End-of-Year Concert of the Composition Department of the Higher Conservatory of Music of the Canary Islands. * A performance suitable for all audiences; children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian. More information can be found in the “Taquillas y Normativa” (Tickets and Regulations) section of this website: https://auditorioalfredokraus.es/taquillas-normativa A firm commitment by the Auditorio y Teatro de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Foundation—now in its eighteenth edition—to promote and showcase the talent of our young creators from the Composition Classroom of the Higher Conservatory of Music of the Canary Islands. This is an excellent opportunity for the works of students specializing in Composition to have direct contact with performers and the public. Thanks to this opportunity, these young creators present to society the work they develop at the higher music education center. This concert, part of the 2026 Young Canarian Performers cycle, is the result of the agreement signed between the Auditorio y Teatro de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Foundation and the Higher Conservatory of Music of the Canary Islands. The aim of this concert is to stimulate the creative spirit among new generations of composers and, through their works, to contribute to the promotion of new talents, as well as to the development of knowledge and assimilation of new musical languages, trends, and modes of expression among the audiences who attend each edition.
