🤝 La Aldea celebrates Neighbor's Day with a day of community living and citizen participation From the Departments of Citizen Participation and Culture of the La Aldea de San Nicolás Town Council, headed by Miguel Ulises Afonso and Víctor Juan Hernández, we invite residents to take part on October 31 in the proposals devised for Neighbor's Day, a day that seeks to promote coexistence, strengthen ties among citizens, and highlight the role of groups and associations in the life of the municipality. From 08:00 to 00:00, the streets and squares of our municipality will host a wide variety of activities, such as the Pedro Espino Petanque Memorial, the Collectives Fair, the Triple R Folk Festival, the 3x3 and PS5 Tournament, and a performance by the Swing del Mambo Orchestra, among others. This day is funded by the Vice-Presidency of the Government of the Canary Islands, together with a grant from the Presidency of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria and Participa Gran Canaria for the Collectives Fair and the Folk Festival, and it has the collaboration of the Canary Association of Assisted Interventions with Dogs TERAPICAN.
