Details
Miguel Ríos will liven up the atmosphere on Midsummer’s Eve (Noche de San Juan) The rock pioneer will perform on June 23, at 9:30 p.m., in Plaza de San Juan Arucas, June 17, 2026. There’s not long to go before the artist and rock pioneer in Spain, Miguel Ríos, performs in Plaza de San Juan in Arucas. The event will take place on June 23 at 9:30 p.m., a date on which the rock legend will join one of the most eagerly awaited events of the Patron Saint Festivities in Honor of Saint John the Baptist: Midsummer’s Eve (Noche de San Juan). Miguel Ríos arrives in Arucas with “El último vals” (The Last Waltz), a new electroacoustic album where rock and country come together. This work, composed by the singer himself and producer José Nortes, is also a tribute to his more than sixty years on stage. Far from those who say this album is a farewell, the tireless Miguel Ríos insists that he “still has a voice and still has stories,” ideas and emotions that compel him to write new songs. The artist, who will be joined on stage by four multi‑instrumentalist musicians, will offer a show praised for its socially engaged lyrics. Arucas City Council invites all residents to enjoy the events scheduled for Midsummer’s Eve, next June 23, an evening in which music will be as much the star as the fireworks. #arucassanjuan26
