🎶 La Aldea hosts a masterclass that fuses jazz, improvisation and avant‑garde music La Aldea de San Nicolás will host a session of the Mousiké masterclass series next Friday, September 25. The activity will be led by guitarist, composer and independent artist from La Palma, Christian Cabrera, and will take place at the Municipal Culture Centre, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with free admission until full capacity is reached. The masterclass, entitled “Camino Las Fuentes. Educational session”, will offer an insight into his musical approach, which combines improvisation and jazz with elements of urban music and contemporary avant‑garde styles. Cabrera has been personally recognised with the “Best Project of the Year” award at the Canarias Jazz Showroom Festival, while his work has been highlighted as one of the freshest and most pioneering proposals within jazz made in the Canary Islands. The Councillor for Culture of La Aldea de San Nicolás Town Council, Víctor Juan Hernández, stressed that “it is a source of satisfaction that our municipality is part of this type of initiative, which brings musical training closer to the public and creates new spaces for learning and interaction around culture”.
