Emotional Intelligence and Self-awareness Workshop "Change the Focus" (La Atalaya)

The Santa Brígida Town Council, through the Department of Social Services headed by Carlos Carrión, continues to run the Emotional Intelligence and Self-Knowledge Workshop “Change the Focus” during September and October, a proposal designed to offer citizens tools that help them better understand their own emotions, face everyday difficulties, and promote personal well-being. The activity, led by educational psychologist Arminda Meliá, is based on a simple but powerful idea: on many occasions we cannot change what happens around us, but we can learn to change the way we look at it and how we respond to it. Through self-knowledge and emotional intelligence, the workshop invites participants to pause, listen to what is happening inside, and discover new ways of relating to ourselves and to others.
