We continue unveiling the lineup of the 10th edition of the Maspalomas Costa Canaria Soul Festival with one of the most charismatic figures of contemporary soul and funk. Bigg Robb Friday 17th, 10:50 p.m. Robert Smith, known as Bigg Roob, went from being a radio host and Roger Troutman’s driver to a member of his band and, after his death in 1999, began his solo career. With four decades of experience as an artist, producer and songwriter, he is a key figure in southern soul. His style, called bigg soul, fuses funk, R&B, blues, gospel and soul. He has released more than 30 albums, including Jerri Curl Muzic, Good Muzic and Vintage. A powerful voice. A vibrant show. Pure soul with attitude.
