Final Theatre Showcase of the Municipal Theatre Classroom

Yesterday, the plays Hamlet and Macbeth were performed as part of the end-of-year showcase of the Municipal Theatre Workshop of Vega de San Mateo, a project promoted by the Department of Culture of the Vega de San Mateo Town Council, headed by José Déniz. The quality of the staging, the commitment of the students and the level they showed on stage reflect the significant growth this initiative has experienced and confirm the wisdom of the Town Council’s decision to recover and strengthen the performing arts in our municipality. After two years of constant work, the Municipal Theatre Workshop has consolidated itself as a space for training, creativity and cultural participation, allowing new talents to discover and develop their passion for theatre. The showcase will continue on 26 June at 4:30 p.m. with a new session in which the audience will be able to enjoy two other stage productions prepared by the students, putting the finishing touch to a school year marked by enthusiasm, learning and a love of the performing arts. Congratulations to all the students and to their director, Iván Álamo, for the excellent work they have done.
