"Alicia (Guerra) in Miniature Land" Exhibition Opening
Details
The Santa Brígida Town Council, through the Department of Culture headed by Avelina Fernández Manrique de Lara, is pleased to announce the exhibition "Alicia (Guerra) in the Land of Miniatures", a window into a small-scale universe, which will open next Tuesday, June 9, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lola Massieu Hall. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to admire the dazzling handcrafted work hidden behind each everyday scene. It is a world dedicated to the art of miniatures and dollhouses, where visitors can marvel at everything from the architecture of the façades to the tiniest elements of interior design: ceramic textures, embroidered curtains, original paintings, period furniture carved to scale, and tiny lighting systems that give each room a life of its own. The exhibition will be open to visitors until June 30. Art workshop As a prelude to the exhibition, Alicia Guerra will be giving a workshop on this artistic discipline on Saturday, June 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the facilities of the Real Casino de Santa Brígida. To register, send an email to cultura@santabrigida.es or call 928 64 81 81 (ext. 0311).
