Tribute to Maestro Paquito in Telde
Details
There are people who not only teach a tradition… they leave a mark forever. Next Thursday, May 21, Telde will pay tribute to Francisco Santana Suárez, “Maestro Paquito”, by unveiling a plaque at the Casa Condal, the place where for years he shared his wisdom, dedication, and love for the Traditional Canarian Stick Fighting (Juego del Garrote Tradicional Canario). To recognize Maestro Paquito is to recognize an entire generation that fought so that our roots, our customs, and our Canarian identity would not be lost over time. Thank you for teaching, for passing on, and for keeping alive the soul of our land. 📍 Casa Condal de Telde 🗓 Thursday, May 21 🕡 6:30 p.m. Listening, walking, and working with the people. #MaestroPaquito #Telde #Canarias #JuegoDelGarrote #TradicionesCanarias
