Theatre Showcase for Wellbeing in La Aldea
Details
La Aldea de San Nicolás opts for theatre as a tool for well-being in a major stage showcase open to all citizens The Cultural Centre of La Aldea will host on July 3, at 8:30 p.m., a major theatre showcase that will bring together performers from different generations on the same stage, in an evening where humour, emotion and reflection will go hand in hand. The programme will begin with the performance of “El Olvido” (“The Forgetting”), a play performed by the women’s group from the Senior Centre, as part of this project promoted by the Department of Social Policy and Seniors of the La Aldea Town Council, headed by Jennifer Sosa Martín. The evening will continue with the performance of “Estamos locos... ¿o qué?” (“Are We Crazy... Or What?”), by the theatre group La Gaviota, a fun comedy that invites the audience to recognise themselves in those little quirks and everyday situations that are part of our lives. The programme will be rounded off with a showcase of ten monologues that will address, with humour and emotion, themes such as motherhood, personal freedom, immigration, fatphobia, love, the passing of time, the difficulties of everyday life, and the importance of valuing the small things that we often take for granted. https://laaldeasanicolas.es/la-aldea-de-san-nicolas-apuesta-por-el-teatro-como-herramienta-de-bienestar-en-una-gran-muestra-escenica-abierta-a-toda-la-ciudadania/
