One of the most beloved motorsport events in Gran Canaria is here: the 26th Arucas Hillclimb #Arucas Ninety teams will take part in the competition, which will be held on Saturday, 13 June. Administrative and technical scrutineering will take place on Friday, 12 June, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Barreto sports facilities. Arucas, 11 June 2026. Arucas is getting ready to host the fourth round of the Las Palmas Provincial Hillclimb Championship. The 26th Subida de Arucas will take place early on the morning of Saturday, 13 June, covering the section between the town of Bañaderos and the historic centre of Arucas. According to the official entry list for this competition, around ninety teams will gather to take part in the different categories of the event: Single-Seaters, Touring Cars in Speed, Rally Formula, Sport Regularity, Intermediate, and Regularity. As a new feature in this edition, administrative and technical scrutineering will take place tomorrow, Friday, 12 June, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the Barreto sports area, accessed via the Red Cross, where the Night Parc Fermé will also be located. On Saturday, 13 June, the vehicles will head to the competition area in convoy, escorted by the Local Police and the organisers. The GC-330 road will be closed at 8:30 a.m., and the cooperation of the service crews is requested so that they can all be accommodated within the available space. As is now tradition, between the practice run and the first official ascent, a representation of the Canary Islands Classic Vehicle Club will drive along the course.
