The Zafra Fair returns to El Tablero with two days full of Canarian tradition, culture and flavour! June 12 and 13 El Tablero Square and Carmelo Pérez Rodríguez Cultural Centre On Friday we will begin with cultural activities, a theatrical tour through the traditional trades of El Tablero, the opening of the exhibition by the students of the Open Painting Classroom, and the musical performance by La Trova. On Saturday, from 12:00 p.m., the Zafra Fair will open its doors with a wide programme for the whole family: Handicrafts and KM.0 products Tastings and traditional gastronomy Show cooking with chef Aridani Alonso Rodríguez Musical performances and Canarian folklore Reading corner and storytelling Workshops and traditional games Exhibitions of shepherd’s leap and stick fighting Grand Baile de Taifas dance to close the day People are invited to attend wearing traditional Canarian clothing or outfits related to the harvest to fully enjoy this celebration of our roots.
