Last night, the ‘Wine and Museum’ event delighted the senses of everyone present. But there is still more to come. Once again, Santiago Square will be transformed this Saturday into a grand showcase for the wines and flavours of our land with the celebration of the tenth edition of ‘Oenological Jewels’. From 7:30 p.m. onwards, residents and visitors will be able to enjoy a unique evening in which the finest wineries of Gran Canaria will share the spotlight with a varied gastronomic offering, highlighting the quality of local products and the work of the island’s wine sector. Live music by Mercedes Villarino, Ismael Leal, Isabel Padrón and Fasur will accompany a night that will reach one of its most special moments with the awards ceremony of the 10th Island Wine Competition of Gran Canaria. An event that has already become a fixture in the municipality’s calendar, once again placing Gáldar as a meeting point for culture, gastronomy and wine, celebrating our traditions and the excellence of locally sourced products.
