Autism: Its terminology and the new approaches, adaptations in society and challenges for families. Through this workshop we will address general content about neurodivergence and, specifically, about autism. We will talk about new scientific certainties versus old beliefs that are now obsolete. We will also discuss what it means to discover that you are autistic. We will find out what autistic dysregulation, shutdown, meltdown and burnout consist of. We will also address how society must adapt to become more inclusive, and what the real challenges are for families.
