New event for seniors in the Active and Healthy Mornings of Vega de San Mateo! Tomorrow and next week we will have the privilege of welcoming Bernabé Quintana, a renowned master knife-maker and collector, who will share with participants his experience, knowledge and passion for one of the most representative symbols of our identity: the Canary knife. A unique opportunity to get to know up close the history, craftsmanship and traditions that are part of our cultural heritage. Wednesday, June 10 Upper floor of the Seniors’ Club of Vega de San Mateo From 10:00 to 12:00 Thursday, June 18 AAVV El Olvido - La Solana From 10:00 to 12:00 An activity organised by the Department for Seniors of the Town Council of Vega de San Mateo, produced by the Fundación Canaria Lidia García, within the Active and Healthy Mornings programme. The Councillor for Seniors, José Déniz, encourages all older residents of the municipality to take part in this interesting experience, which will allow them to reconnect with our traditions, share memories and continue promoting active ageing through culture, coexistence and learning.
