Gitano de Palo Vermouth Session in Gran Canaria
Details
GITANO DE PALO for the first time in the Canary Islands, presenting his album ALAIAR, released in 2025, and his new tracks from 2026. The final flourish of our concerts before the summer. Sunday, May 31, at vermouth time. Kiko Evia, a.k.a. Gitano de Palo, has never hidden his obsessions and passions, and in this "Alaiar" they’re all there: gold and silver, the Arab and the Roman, virgins and crucifixes, rosaries and monstrances, Corpus Christi and the pilgrimage route. The procession, friends, happens on the inside. In "Alaiar" you’ll find uproar and racket, yes, but also laughter and tears. What he wears is a crown, but of thorns. Shaken by the power of the drums, the jingle of tambourines, the air stirred by fans. And also neon, of course, the kind that shines over the dance floor. (By the way, we’re thrilled to bring proposals like this one, acts that haven’t yet set foot on the islands, and to have Palermo be a connection point and space of mutual discovery between the local audience and artists from elsewhere). Thanks to Industrias Bala. It promises to be another very special vermouth session, somewhere between the bustle of Sónar and the soul of a flamenco tablao. After all, it’s all the fault of rhythm and compás, isn’t it? Advance tickets can be purchased through the calendar on our website, as always. #sesionespalermicas #gitanodepalo #canarias
