Magic Chapel presents a new edition of La Misa del Santo Bailón. Papess Esther Vázquez, altar boy Edgar Oncina and the Missfits nuns return to the stage, but this time with a new liturgy dedicated to the Santo Bailón, packed with humor, gospel and a strong festive spirit. If you missed it last time, here’s a new chance. And if you already came, get ready to experience a different Mass, with new blessings, new apparitions and even an exhibition of classic cars that will be duly baptized. The Eucharist will give way to a daytime vermouth session, heavenly cocktails by Ruth Nieves and sacred delicacies served by the G-Wapitos taquería. We’re extending the music until 22:00 with a line-up to keep you dancing non-stop: Sudakita from Papaya Subtropical, coming from Fuerteventura, with cumbia rhythms, global groove and tropical sounds; Candela from Verbena Cósmica, coming from Tenerife, with disco-funk and house, accompanied by the heavenly voice of Just Beca; and to close, from Lanzarote, the techno of Silver. Oh, and wait! Forget about the car and hop on the Sacred Guagua. Once again we’re providing transport from Costa Teguise, with stops in Arrecife and Playa Honda, and this time the journey comes with a stand-up monologue included by Oskita Montero, arriving from Gran Canaria. A new Mass, a new liturgy and many reasons to come together again.
