The event will take place on June 23 at 9:30 p.m., a date on which the rock legend will join one of the most eagerly awaited events of the Patron Saint Festivities in Honor of Saint John the Baptist: Midsummer’s Eve (Noche de San Juan). Miguel Ríos arrives in Arucas with “El último vals” (The Last Waltz), a new electroacoustic album where rock and country come together. This work, composed by the singer himself and producer José Nortes, is also a tribute to his more than sixty years on stage. Far from those who say this album is a farewell, the tireless Miguel Ríos insists that he “still has a voice and still has stories,” ideas and emotions that compel him to write new songs. The artist, who will be joined on stage by four multi‑instrumentalist musicians, will offer a show praised for its socially engaged lyrics.
