Talk: Women in Nepal
Details
🖼️ Exhibition: “The World of Innocence” 📸 Photographic exhibition about everyday life in rural Nepal 📍The Juan Ramón Jiménez Municipal Theatre will host from March 3 to 29 the photography exhibition “The World of Innocence”, an exhibition organized by the NGO Educanepal in collaboration with the Department of Culture of the Telde City Council and the company Gestel. The exhibition brings together a carefully curated selection of images that portray everyday scenes from rural Nepal, especially in the mountainous areas where Educanepal carries out its humanitarian work. Through these photographs, visitors will be able to get closer to the reality of the communities in which the organization works on projects for the schooling of minors and support for families in situations of vulnerability. The snapshots capture the spontaneity of daily life, the innocence of childhood and the authenticity of the villages where José Díaz, founder of Educanepal, carries out his humanitarian work, conveying values of dignity, hope and resilience. 🗓 The exhibition can be visited at the Juan Ramón Jiménez Municipal Theatre from 9:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00. ▪️ Special event: “Women in Nepal” 👉 As part of the programme of activities of the exhibition Mujeres de Telde, *on Wednesday, March 11 at 19:00*, the talk and discussion “Women in Nepal” will take place at the Iglesia Hospitalaria de San Pedro Mártir in Telde, with free admission until capacity is reached. At this event, José Díaz will offer a close look at the daily reality of women in rural Nepal, addressing the social, educational and cultural challenges they face. The encounter will also feature invited participants Clara Eugenia Ramírez and Lourdes Burón, who will contribute their experience and reflections on the role of women in contexts of vulnerability. And on March 26 he will give, at the same venue, a meditation workshop to generate calm and awaken our most loving essence at 17:30, with limited places. ℹ️ For more information about the NGO and its projects: 🌐 www.educanepal.org
