Proclamation of the Fiestas of Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados 2026

Antonio María Benítez Melián, Councillor for Animal Welfare, Youth and the Seniors Club of the Gáldar Town Council, will be in charge of reading the Proclamation of the Festivities in honor of Our Lady of the Forsaken of Barrial 2026. The event will take place this Sunday, 16 August, from 9:00 p.m. in Plaza José Rodríguez Quintana in the neighborhood. The day will begin at 8:00 p.m., from the front of the Stadium, with the departure of the children’s papagüevos, who will be accompanied by the Vitamina Band charanga. Afterwards, next to the church, the flag of the Festivities will be raised. The event will also feature a musical performance by Celia Jiménez. galdar.es
