Pino Santo Alto is getting ready to celebrate its Festivities in Honor of Our Lady of Health 2026 with a wide program of religious and popular events. 8 August ▫️8:30 p.m. – Reading of the Opening Proclamation by the Rancho de Ánimas de Arbejales (Teror), a living centenary relic of the ethnographic heritage of the Canary Islands. ▫️Afterwards, Tacones Rojos in concert. 9 August ▫️10:00 a.m. – Opening of the Handicrafts and Local Products Market, enlivened by Sara Brito and Paco. ▫️From 10:00 a.m., the Teodoro Torres Equestrian Arena hosts the “Day of Traditions” with a threshing exhibition with two yokes of oxen, cow milking, distribution of milk and gofio, sheep shearing, and donkey rides. ▫️12:00 p.m. – Mass for the deceased of the neighborhood (in the Outdoor Marquee / Sports Court). ▫️1:00 p.m. – Foam Party. 11 August ▫️5:00 p.m. – Bouncy castles, face painting, and youth games. Organized by the Youth Department. ▫️6:00 p.m. – Fitness masterclass. Organized by the Municipal Sports Company. 13 August ▫️8:00 p.m. – Tasting of typical dishes and Bingo. 14 August ▫️7:30 p.m. – Reception of pilgrims from Arbejales and San Isidro. ▫️8:00 p.m. – Holy Mass of the Sick in the Outdoor Marquee / Sports Court. ▫️9:00 p.m. – Lip-sync show (Escala en Hi-Fi) presented by Carolina del Olmo (El Tocador de Nina). 15 August ▫️8:00 p.m. – Departure of Our Lady of Health from the Hermitage. ▫️8:00 p.m. – Pilgrimage-Offering to Our Lady of Health with Parranda Pedro Hidalgo and the folk group A.F. Iballa. (Offering in aid of Cáritas Santa Brígida). ▫️10:30 p.m. – Grand Open-Air Dance with music by Ritmo Bakano and DJ Álvaro Rodríguez. 16 August ▫️6:00 p.m. – Religious Service celebrated by parish priest Vito Ondó and sung by the folk group A.F. La Zarzalera (Pino Santo Bajo). ▫️Procession accompanied by the Guiniguada Concert Band. ▫️8:30 p.m. – Traditional costumbrista theatrical monologue “Your Accent Sounds Familiar to Me” by Antonia de Aguatona. ▫️At the end, hot chocolate with churros. The Pino Santo Alto Festival Committee thanks the commitment of the residents, as well as the support of the Island Council of Gran Canaria, the Santa Brígida Town Hall, and the local businesses that make the festivities possible.
