Farmers' Market of Gáldar – 1 November
Details
🍅 The Gáldar Farmers’ Market will return next Sunday, October 4, to Plaza de Santiago, at its usual time from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event has become a regular meeting point between producers and consumers for the purchase of fresh, local and proximity products in the north of Gran Canaria. 📍 The Farmers’ Market is organized by the Department of Socioeconomic Development of the Gáldar City Council, headed by Tine Marín Ojeda, and the Association of Farmers’ Markets of Gran Canaria, with the collaboration of the Department of Primary Sector, Food Sovereignty and Water Security of the Island Council (Cabildo) of Gran Canaria. 🗓 This event offers a wide variety of products from the island’s primary sector and artisanal production, including seasonal fruit and vegetables, cheeses, honey, bread, sweets and other local products, making it easier for residents to access proximity foods and helping to boost the local economy and the primary sector. After the event on October 4, the planned schedule for the coming months includes new editions on October 18 and November 1 and 15, all on Sundays and maintaining the usual fortnightly frequency of this market throughout the year. 👉 More information at galdar.es
