Fascial Maneuvers on Las Canteras Beach
Details
Hi everyone! 👋 I would like to briefly explain why I created this group. I have been taking private sessions with Juri for the past several weeks, and I am genuinely so impressed by the practice that, after discussing it with him, I decided to share and post his events here on his behalf. And now, a few words from Juri himself: My name is Juri, I am from Slovenia and currently staying here in beautiful Las Palmas. I am excited to bring Fascial Maneuvers to the community here, teaching the approach of Human Garage. It is a practice that has completely changed how I feel in my own body and how I look at health and well-being. It is my pleasure to share it with you all. What are Fascial Maneuvers? It’s a blend of body movement, somatic release, and breathwork. Instead of typical stretching, we will do slow, counter-rotational movements and apply gentle tension to our own bodies while doing specific breathwork. This will help reset the nervous system, restore natural flexibility, and release trapped stress or emotions. What is fascia? In short We usually think of fascia as just “connective tissue” under the skin, but in Human Garage language, you don’t just “have” fascia—you are fascia. It is an uninterrupted, 3D crystalline web made mostly of water that holds everything together: your organs, bones, muscles, and nerves. Fascia has thousands of times more nerve endings than the brain. It acts like a bioelectric hard drive, recording and remembering every fall, stress, and trauma we experience throughout life. Unresolved emotions such as fear or grief carry physical weight and become locked in our tissues. When fascia becomes tight and restricted, it constricts our organs and blocks our energy, keeping us in physical or emotional pain. Some of the benefits you may experience from each class: • A significant reduction in stress and tension throughout your body • Feeling physically and emotionally lighter and moving more easily • Improved posture and flexibility in different parts of your body • Better digestion and a clearer mind • Safe emotional release. During or after the maneuvers, it is completely normal to yawn, cough, laugh, or even cry gently. These are positive signs that your body is finally releasing what it has been carrying. • Recharging your natural energy. The body is incredibly intelligent. Once stress is reduced, it knows exactly how to heal and perform better. The best part is that this is a pure self-care practice. You will learn how to perform the maneuvers on your own body. 💶 €10 per person 📍 Location: La Puntilla Beach, just after the beach volleyball courts, near Belén de Arena https://maps.app.goo.gl/CAudZx4SsnqJDxDY7?g_st=ic What to bring: Please wear comfortable clothes and bring water to stay hydrated, as well as a beach towel. We will perform some maneuvers while standing and others while sitting or lying down. I have also created a WhatsApp group where I will share updates, location pins, and future class schedules. I hope to see you at a very fasci(a)nating class! 😊 All the best, Juri
