🤝 VEGA DE SAN MATEO | MUACC WE CONTINUE PROMOTING COMMUNITY ACTIONS AGAINST UNWANTED LONELINESS From the Vega de San Mateo Town Council, through the Department for Older Adults, we continue to promote actions aimed at preventing unwanted loneliness, encouraging social participation, and strengthening community support networks in our municipality. These initiatives are part of the Solitude 0% Program, funded by the Government of the Canary Islands and organized by the Fundación Canaria Lidia García, with the collaboration of the Vega de San Mateo Town Council through the Department for Older Adults. During this morning, Wednesday, October 14, a training meeting was held within the Gran Canaria Community Activities Fair (MUACC 2026), bringing together older people and professionals from the health and social fields. A morning of learning, reflection, and exchange of experiences to continue building a closer, more participatory community that is committed to people’s well-being. We thank all participants for their attendance and involvement.
