Islas para Jugar sets sail as a project within the bid for the 2031 European Capital of Culture of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, rolling out El Hilo del Juego, a playful, interactive, textile and community-based proposal that invites you to turn off the screens and light up the squares, using thread as an element of intergenerational social fabric. Come and play. Come and create. Light up the square. We have the first three dates: 🧶15 September: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Weave the Square 🧶17 September: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Weave the Square 🧶20 September: 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Threads for Playing First stop: Plaza de Argentina, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Islas para Jugar is part of the programme Proyectos en Rebelión LPGC’31
