Free community gathering open to the public, organized by the Sociocultural Association Legado De Luz Canarias on Saturday, August 29, 2026, in Plaza de La Música (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria), in tribute to Michael Jackson's birthday and his humanitarian legacy. The activity brings together neighbors in a flashmob format, without the need for a stage or sound equipment, combining citizen participation dynamics, a commemorative altar, dissemination of fan-activism, and a central moment of collective a cappella singing of "Man In The Mirror." The gathering concludes with attendees walking together to the Las Arenas Shopping Center to enjoy a free performance by the artist Gus Jackson. The project conveys a message of unity, humanity, love, and peace, strengthening the sense of community through music and collective memory.
