38th Folkloric Festival “El Charco”

THE XXXVIII FOLK FESTIVAL "EL CHARCO" HAS ARRIVED We have been getting ready all summer for one of the most important and special events for us. A night full of folklore, tradition, memory and emotion. We have spent many years defending what is ours and keeping our traditions alive. This year, in addition, our Festival takes on a special character with the arrival of A. C. Xiada from A Pobra do Caramiñal (Galicia), thus returning the visit and the affection with which they welcomed us this summer in Galicia. Joining them will be Los Sancochos and our Parranda La Aldea, filling the square with music, dance and feeling. And we will have the privilege of having our dear Antonio Betancor as presenter, a person very closely linked to our history and to our project. A festival coordinated by the Fundación Canaria Proyecto Comunitario de La Aldea and the Ayuntamiento de La Aldea de San Nicolás, shaping, once again, one of the flagship and most popular events of our festivities. 28 August 8:30 p.m. Plaza Proyecto de Desarrollo Comunitario El Charco is once again filled with folklore, tradition and its people.
