Enkassette Live at Buenos Aires Jazz Café

Details

On December 19, 2026 at 11:00 p.m. Enkassette, a Canary Islands band originally from Telde, Gran Canaria, comes to Buenos Aires Jazz Café with a proposal they themselves describe as a true “fusion party”: an energetic, fun show designed for all audiences. Their music is born from cross-cultural fusion and combines reggae, ska, rock, cumbia and son rhythms, creating a distinctive sound in which original songs coexist with covers and adaptations brought into the band’s unique musical universe. But Enkassette is not just about partying. Their songs also make room for social and environmental awareness, the defense of rights and freedoms, and the enhancement of the culture and identity of the Canary Islands. With more than 15 original tracks and works such as Hijos de la Maldad and Tropicalya, the band draws influences from leading figures in fusion and Ibero-American rock such as Bersuit Vergarabat, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Mano Negra and Muchachito Bombo Infierno, along with figures from Canarian music such as José Antonio Ramos. A night to listen, sing, dance and let yourself be carried away by a mix of styles that turns every Enkassette concert into a celebration. We’ll be waiting for you at Baires!!!
