Screening: Nobody Here. Story of vaporwave
Details
We’re taking a vacation, but first on Wednesday, July 15 we’ll have a screening. It won’t be the typical analog Wednesday: “Nobody Here. Story of vaporwave” (2026) explores the origins of vaporwave, tracing its evolution from an online, experimental, and anonymous subculture into a complex musical and aesthetic movement. The documentary examines this genre’s relationship with sampling, nostalgia, and DIY digital aesthetics, highlighting the unique community of artists who used the Internet as a creative canvas to redefine today’s sound and aesthetics. Free entry and no reservation required. We’ll be back in mid-September!
