40th Anniversary of the Santa Brígida Municipal Market
Details
The Santa Brígida Municipal Market will be decked out in its finest on Sunday, October 25, to commemorate its 40th Anniversary. After four decades of continuous activity in the service of the public and in support of local products, the Santa Brígida Town Council, through the Department of Municipal Markets headed by Carmen Juez, has moved the celebration to this new date with the same full program of activities designed for all ages. The festive day, which will begin at 9:30 a.m., will combine tradition, family leisure, and gastronomy. During the morning, those who come to the market will be able to enjoy tastings of local products, children’s activities, raffles, and various live musical performances, which will culminate at 12:00 noon with a concert by the emblematic group Los Gofiones. One of the most significant moments of the commemoration will be the recognition ceremony, in which tribute will be paid to the careers of the people who have made it possible for this space to remain a benchmark of proximity in the municipality. In addition, the official presentation of the new visual identity and logo of the Municipal Market will take place. The Town Council reiterates its invitation to citizens to join this celebration on its new date and share a festive day in recognition of the fundamental role of local commerce in the development of Santa Brígida.
