💚🌿 II NEIGHBOURHOOD GATHERING OF ARTENARA 🌿 🏅 A TRIBUTE TO OUR ROOTS, OUR HISTORY AND OUR ELDERS ❤️ From the Unión Vecinal Artenara Association (UVART) we want to dedicate one of the most special and emotional moments of our II Neighbourhood Gathering to recognising and paying tribute to three people who are part of the living history of our municipality. 🌷 Mrs. Carmela Lugo Medina 🌷 Mr. Juan Díaz Almeida 🌷 Mrs. Carmen Vicenta González Herrera Three people who represent the effort, wisdom, life experiences and values of generations that have helped build the Artenara we know today. With this small but heartfelt tribute we want to thank them for everything they represent, because behind every elderly person there is a story that deserves to be heard, remembered and valued. 🕊️ A VERY SPECIAL REMEMBRANCE This gathering will also have a moment to lovingly remember Sisita and Antonio, whom we had the honour of paying tribute to last year and who, sadly, have left us during this past year. "Although today we cannot count on their presence, they will always be among us through their memories, their lessons and the affection they left behind. Because there are people who depart, but whose mark remains forever in the heart of their town." 🤍 🌿 Honouring our elders means recognising our past, valuing our present and teaching new generations the importance of not forgetting where we come from. 📅 24 October ⏱️ 14:00 📍 Municipal Warehouse of Artenara 💚 From Unión Vecinal Artenara we want this recognition to be much more than a symbolic act: we want it to be an expression of the affection, respect and gratitude that our town feels for its elders. ❤️ Because they are our roots, our memory and an essential part of our history.
