August has a name: FIREWORKS of the FESTIVITIES OF SAN LORENZO!! There are festivals... and then there are the Fiestas de San Lorenzo, one of the most beloved, emblematic and eagerly awaited celebrations in Gran Canaria. Every summer, the streets fill with joy, tradition, music, reunions and thousands of people who come from every corner of the island to experience a unique atmosphere. San Lorenzo is much more than a place: it is a village with a soul, proud of its roots and of traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation and that continue to move both locals and visitors. The traditional Livestock Fair is a must, an essential event that keeps the essence of the village alive. Fireworks of San Lorenzo Time: At 1:00 a.m. Dates: From 9 to 10 August, on the eve of the saint. An impressive show that lights up the sky and brings together thousands of people on a magical night that you have to experience at least once in your life.
