“Liquid Cartographies” turns La Mutua into an emotional map of migration The opening will take place on Friday, September 4 at the Espacio Cultural La Mutua, where the exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 14:00. Arucas, September 2, 2026.- The Espacio Cultural La Mutua will host from September 4 to 28 the group exhibition “Liquid Cartographies”, a proposal that brings together the works of Fátima Suleiman (printmaking), Juan González (photography), Javier Camarasa (installation) and Esther Vega (painting). Inspired by Zygmunt Bauman’s concept of liquid modernity, the exhibition offers a reflection on the migratory experience as a vital process marked by departure, transit, displaced childhood, and the reconstruction of identity. Through different visual languages, the four artists invite the public to contemplate migration from a profoundly human and emotional perspective.
