Manel Ruiz “El Especialista” Friday 17 7:30 p.m. Born in Barcelona in 1973, Manel Ruiz Martínez settled in Gran Canaria in 1998. His life is closely linked to music as a DJ. In 2011 he made his radio debut, adopting the alias El especialista Manel Ruiz. He comes to the Canary soul festival with an exquisite selection of vinyl records loaded with soul, rhythm & blues, national and international blues, shades of jazz, and timeless funk gems.
