🇮🇨 The Fiestas de San Miguel in Temisas are starting! From September 16 to 29, Temisas is filled with tradition, music, and joy to celebrate its festivities in honor of Saint Michael the Archangel. Among the main events: Friday the 18th, at 9:00 p.m., the opening address by Nelson Alemán Sánchez; Saturday the 19th, at 7:00 p.m., the Canary Islands Pilgrimage and, at 11:00 p.m., a dance; Saturday the 26th, from 9:00 p.m., a performance by Laura Lozano Alemán and a Parranda Night; and Monday the 28th, the great eve of Saint Michael, with performances and a dance starting at 8:30 p.m. On Tuesday the 29th, Saint Michael’s Day, the day will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the reveille with marching band and will continue with the livestock fair (10:00 a.m.), the solemn Eucharist (12:00 p.m.), the procession (1:00 p.m.), the community lunch (2:30 p.m.), and the Verbena del Solajero dance (3:00 p.m.).
