Foundational Festivities 548th Anniversary of the Founding of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria #rebelióndelageografía #fiestasfundacionales Plaza de la Música will be buzzing from 22:00 with Álvaro de Luna and will turn, from 00:20, into a lively open-air dance party (verbena) with Tataband and DJ sessions. At 00:00, the music will give way to a fireworks display launched from the Los Muellitos area. This is the day on which the city pays tribute to the people, organisations and institutions whose work has been especially significant for the city and its residents. But before that, from 17:00, LPGC 2031 will bring the spirit of the exhibition “Rebel Walls. Urban Stories” to the doors of the Auditorium with a programme that will include performances of various urban dance disciplines, dance battles, rap and freestyle shows, and the participation of La Musicleta.
