The Gran Canaria School of Citizenship, promoted by the Canary Association of Popular Universities (ACUP) and the Island Directorate for Citizen Participation of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria (Participa G.C.), in collaboration with the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council, invites you to take part in the workshop: Crafts with Purpose: Discover Leg Warmer Knitting Objective: Learn a traditional craft technique that fosters creativity, the exchange of knowledge, and the preservation of our cultural heritage through collaborative manual work. Workshop details: Dates: Saturdays, June 20 and 27, 2026 Time: From 10:00 to 12:00 Place: Centro Cultural Castillo del Romeral Duration: 4 hours (2 sessions) Registration: https://forms.gle/nGG2DmBmyrEDbeCZ9 Free training, limited places.
