In times like these, immersed in haste, noise, anxiety, disconnection and lack of meaning, it is more necessary than ever to create spaces where we can cultivate peace and patience. To slow down. To let life move at its own pace. That’s why, after the success of the last Gathering, this year we repeat it, under a new theme: “Silence and Calm”. An invitation to explore, from different disciplines and perspectives, the value of silence and calm in contemporary human experience. A three-day gathering in which to nourish one another and build the kind of spirituality we want to live, collectively, through: · Talks and presentations by experts, meditators and scientists · Concerts and live experiences · Discussion panels and dialogues with the audience · A unique opportunity to meet like-minded people CONFIRMED SPEAKERS: Dokushô Villalba Dokûsho is the first Spanish Zen master of the Soto tradition and founder and abbot of the Luz Serena Monastery (Valencia). Author of more than thirty works, both translations of classical Chinese sources and his own books, Dokûsho is currently the most prominent figure in Zen Buddhism in the Spanish-speaking world. Arosa, J.Q. Psychologist and popularizer of neuroscience and transpersonal psychology. Founder of Asociación ENSUA. Through his talk-workshops, he seeks to bring us a comprehensive understanding of the brain and the psyche, from both science and conscious experience. ...and many more to be confirmed! CONFIRMED ARTISTS: Mohamed Alnuma Sufi musician and poet of Franco-Iraqi origin with several decades of experience. Alnuma comes to bring us closer to the art of the Middle East with his voice and his Arabic lute, in a trio together with two other local musicians: Ayoze de Alejandro Drummer and percussionist from Telde. He has collaborated with various international artists in Europe, Asia, North Africa, the Middle East, North and South America. ...and many more to be confirmed! We will reveal the program soon.
