🍎✨ A MEMORY THAT WALKS WITH US ✨🍎 📖 CHAPTER IV 👇 2010 · A pilgrimage to remember, people never to forget. ❤️ There are years that remain marked in our memory. There are moments that, even as the years go by, continue to walk alongside us. Today, in this fourth chapter of “Photos of Yesterday as Always”, we travel back to 2010, a special year in the history of our Romería-Ofrenda de la Manzana de Valleseco: for the first time, the Town Hall of Teror took part with its own cart in this much-loved celebration. 📸 But these photographs are much more than a memory of that moment. They are also a tribute to our neighbours, to so many people who turned the pilgrimage into an expression of joy, togetherness, and pride in our traditions, and who are no longer physically with us today. Their faces remain in these images. Their smiles are still alive. Their memories continue to be part of our history. ❤️ Because behind every cart, every offering, every traditional costume and every step of that pilgrimage, there were people who put their hope, their time and their hearts into keeping alive a tradition that we still celebrate today. 🌿 They too are the fiesta. They are the memory of our streets. They are part of who we are. Today we want to remember them with affection, with respect, and with that emotion that arises when we discover that a photograph can bring back to us, even if only for an instant, those who meant so much. And as we look at these images from 2010, we feel that the pilgrimage does not only move towards the future… it also carries with it the footprints of all those who made it possible. 📅 On September 26 we will once again begin the journey towards our festivities. And when the first weekend of October arrives, on our big days, we will meet again, celebrate again and fill our streets with life once more. ✨ For those who were there. For those who are here.
