Gáldar with the Heart in Mozambique Solidarity Gala

🤝 The Gáldar City Council, through the Department of Solidarity headed by Ana Teresa Mendoza Jiménez, is organizing next Wednesday, September 23 at 8:00 p.m. the solidarity gala “Gáldar with its Heart in Mozambique”, in collaboration with the San Pedro González Telmo Association of Puerto de Sardina, which will be held at the headquarters of this neighborhood collective. 📍 This initiative is part of the “Gáldar for Solidarity 2026” program and aims to raise funds to finance nursery and primary schools in rural villages in Mozambique. The funds raised will be managed by the Madres Solidarias association to support the educational projects promoted by the priest Manolín Ramírez in the African country. 🎶 The gala will feature a musical performance by the duo made up of Juan Carlos Álamo Rosario and Dunia Candelaria Sosa, who will offer a repertoire full of sensitivity and commitment. Since 2023, both artists have been developing a joint project that focuses mainly on boleros, from the most traditional to adaptations of well-known songs and references of contemporary Mexican music, as well as other musical proposals. Juan Carlos Álamo also includes in his performances songs linked to protest music and traditional Puerto Rican music. 👉 More information at galdar.es
