Marta Sánchez presents her 40th anniversary tour as part of the twentieth edition of Festival Mar Abierto. In the Symphony Hall of the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus she will revisit the greatest hits that have marked her career—authentic anthems of Spanish pop—along with some of her new songs. In 2025, Marta Sánchez’s career reaches the 40-year mark, consolidating her status as the “Queen of Spanish Pop” and one of the most important artists of recent decades, with more than 10 million records sold. To celebrate this milestone, Universal Music Spain has released the album '40 Años 1985–2025'. This work goes beyond a simple greatest-hits collection: it is a true celebration of her trajectory, recovering songs recorded in the past that Marta always wanted to release and also offering hints about the future of her music. The first disc brings together some of the biggest hits of Marta Sánchez’s career, from her time with the legendary group Olé Olé to her most recent work, including several of her most notable collaborations. The second disc features previously unreleased tracks and recordings rescued from Universal’s archives. In the case of songs that only existed as demos, they have been completed in 2025 by their original producers, giving new life to compositions that had remained hidden until now. With this project, Marta Sánchez begins the celebration of her four decades in music with a new tour that started in March 2026 and with which she will visit different venues around the country, in collaboration with GTS. It is a show in which she will revisit the great hits that have defined her career—true anthems of Spanish pop—together with some of the new songs included in this release, once again demonstrating her artistic relevance, her powerful voice, and her ability to reinvent herself. An unmissable event to relive four decades of great songs live.
