Take Care of Your Wellbeing – Emotional Health Workshop Series

The Agaete Town Council is launching the workshop programme "Take Care of Your Wellbeing", a proposal aimed at local residents to promote emotional, personal and social wellbeing, offering a space for learning, reflection and connection. The initiative includes a total of six fortnightly sessions, which will be held in the Assembly Hall of the Parque Popular de Agaete, on Tuesdays, from 10:30 to 12:00, and will be led by the municipal psychologist. These workshops will address different aspects related to wellbeing and personal growth, providing practical tools that will help participants to get to know themselves better, cope with stressful situations, strengthen their self-esteem and improve their personal and social relationships, as well as boost their motivation and life project. Programme of sessions The planned schedule is as follows: .- 22 September: Emotional management and self-knowledge. .- 6 October: Stress management and self-care. .- 20 October: Self-esteem and self-compassion. .- 3 November: Assertive communication, support networks and healthy relationships. .- 17 November: Healthy habits and mental health. .- 1 December: Life project, motivation and resilience. The Agaete Town Council encourages residents to take part in this initiative, conceived as an opportunity to devote time to their own wellbeing, share experiences and acquire resources that can contribute to a healthier and more balanced life, making self-care and wellbeing an important part of everyday life. Ultimately, "Take Care of Your Wellbeing" seeks to create a friendly and accessible space in which to grow, share and learn to take care of ourselves together, placing emotional wellbeing at the centre. The activity is carried out within the framework of the Coordinated Plan for Basic Social Services Benefits, funded by the Agaete Town Council, the Government of the Canary Islands and the Government of Spain, through the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and the 2030 Agenda.
